Achilles Around the World Fall and Winter Update

Achilles athletes hit the ground running, walking, and rolling into 2023. From workout attendance highs to race PRs, and snow to sun, read a short recap of chapter highlights below.

U.S. Chapters

Nashville

Members of Achilles Nashville celebrated at Cool Springs Galleria, where the Giving Machine was located, during the holiday season. The Giving Machine allowed customers to buy a tether, running shoes or practice shirts for individuals and families that the chapter supports. Purchases made at the special vending machines support nonprofits, and raised over $100K. Their first practice of 2023 also welcomed new members.

Los Angeles

Achilles Los Angeles started up their workouts again in early October. From having members participate in the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon, to reaching record high attendance, the chapter is excited to take on the new year together.

Achilles New Jersey

Achilles New Jersey celebrated the five year anniversary of their very first chapter workout on January 7. The chapter members celebrated this milestone by joining members of Achilles Queens, Achilles Brooklyn, and Achilles Long Island at their Day of Inclusion and Kindness.
