Joe LeMar joined the Achilles team in 2022 as the Chapter Lead of Boston, MA.
His lifelong passion for sports has taken him around the world. He was the TS2 400m run gold medalist at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, Spain, as well as the T44 800m run bronze medalist at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia. He is a multiple time world champion in various athletic sporting events, including with Team USA in Wheelchair Softball in 2016 and 2017. Joe is passionate about dedicating his time to coaching as a way to give back to his community.
Joe's motto is to always remember the “6 C's to Succeed:” Courage, Commitment, Character, Class, Confidence and Communication.
