Karen has been involved with Achilles since 1993, first as an athlete with a disability. She found her calling as the director of the Achilles Kids program and then in 2022, was named VP of School Programs. Now, as VP of Special Projects, she hopes to use her experience and perspective as an athlete with a disability to create a variety of training materials and videos that will further enhance the experience for all participants.
