Updated New York Chapter Workout Guidelines for Adults and Kids
With an acceleration in the number of COVID cases, below are updated guidelines for Achilles NYC and Team Achilles Kids in New York.
New York workouts will resume on Saturday, January 22. All indoor gatherings (pre and/or post workout) are still suspended at this time. Please note, that going forward::
All NYC Chapter and TAK Program volunteers will be required to show proof of vaccination.
Adult athletes and volunteers attending NYC chapter workouts will be required to show proof of vaccination.
Masks will be required when gathering in the group setting at arrival and departure. Masks are recommended, but not required, while running.
Team Achilles Kids volunteers and kids MUST wear their masks at all times.
Advance RSVPs will continue to be required and strictly enforced for all volunteers and athletes.
Workouts are expected to resume on Saturday, January 22. Adults that arrive before 10:15 AM, will be sent out to run as soon as both athlete and pre-paired guide are on site. For questions regarding adult workouts, please email fmagisano@achillesinternational.org.
The Team Achilles Kids workouts will be spread out into waves beginning at 8:30 AM with the last of four waves at 9:30 AM. For questions regarding Team Achilles Kids workouts, please email kids@achillesinternational.org.
